Chapter 3:1-6

Dear Church In Sardis

I. Unto the Pastor of the church of Sardis
write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God,
and the seven stars

II. Sardis is the dead church.

III. Thou hast a name that thou livest and art dead.

IV. What two things is the church to do?
1. Be watchful
2. Strengthen the things which remain

V. I have not found thy works perfect (complete) before God.

VI. What three things is one to remember?
1. How thou hast received and heard
2. To holdfast
3. To repent

VII. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis.

VIII. They have not defiled their garments.
They shall walk with me in white.

IX. He that overcometh,
the same shall be clothed in white raiment.

X. I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life

I will confess his name before my Father, and before His angels.

XI. John referred seven times to the Book of Life. Give all references.
