Chapter 3:14-22

Lesson 10 with Answers
Dear Church of the Laodiceans

I. Unto the Pastor of the the church of the Laodiceans

Note: Laodicea was known as a banking center (much wealth).
It had a famous medidal school - developed eye salve.
Today, city is in complete ruins.

II. The church of the Laodiceans is called lukewarm

III. Thy works are neither cold nor hot

IV. I will spue / spit thee out of my mouth.

V. This church says:
I am rich
I am increased with goods
I am in need of nothing

VI. Christ says:
Thou art wretched
Thou art miserable
Thou art poor
Thou art blind
Thou art naked

Buy of me gold - tried in fire
That thou mayest be rich

Buy of me white raiment
That thou mayest be clothed

Anoint thine eyes with eye salve
That thou mayest see

VII. As many as I love I rebuke I chasten

VIII. Behold I stand at the door and knock
IX. If any man hear my voice and open the door I will come in.

The Church Age ends at Rev. 3:22 with the Rapture of the Church.
