Chapter 5:1-8

Lesson 13 with Answers
The Seven Sealed Book

I. Where was the book, sealed with seven seals, located? (vs 1)
In the right hand of Him who sat on the throne

II. Who does John hear and what two questions does he ask? (vs 2)
He hears a strong angel
Question 1 Who is worthy to open the book?
Question 2 And to loose it's seals?

III. Who was worthy to open the book and loose it’s seals? (vs 3)
No man in heaven
No man in earth
No man under the earth

IV. No human could do it, but One who became human could. (vs 5)
He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah
He is the Root of David

V. There stood: (vs 6)
In the midst of the throne
In the midst of the four beasts
In the midst of the twenty-four elders

VI. There stood a Lamb: (vs 6)
As it had been slain
Having seven horns
Having seven eyes
Which are the seven spirits of God(Rev. 1:4)

VII. What happened when He took the book: (vs 8)
The four beasts fell down before the Lamb
The twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb
All the above had harps and golden vials full of odours or incense
which are the prayers of the Saints (believers)
