Chapter 12:1-17

The Woman & The Dragon

I. There are seven signs or miracles revealed between 12:1 & 19:20.
The word “wonder” in the Greek means “sign or miracle.”
(1) 12:1 A woman who represents Israel
(2) 12:3 A dragon who is Satan
(3) 13:13 Fire from Heaven
(4) 13:14 Deceived people / Beast killed and brough back to life
(5) 15:1 Seven angels with seven vials or bowls
(6) 16:14 Gettung ready for the Battle of Armageddon
(7) 19:20 Mark of the Beast/ Lake of Fire / Beast, False Prophet

II. 1/3 part of the angels of Heaven followed Satan.

III. In verse 5, who is the man child? Christ

IV. Michael and his angels fought Satan
and his angels in Heaven.

V. The dragon (vs 3) is also called that Old Serpent
the Devil and Satan

VI. Satan and his angels are now upon the earth

VII. Another name for Satan is the Great Dragon

VIII. By what three things did the brethren have victory over Satan?
(1) By the blood of the Lamb (Salvation)
(2) By the Word of their testimony
(3) By their death for Christ

IX. Now, the Devil’s time is short

X. How long is a thousand two hundred and threescore days? (vs 6) 42 months or 3 1/2 years
How long is a time, and times, and half a time? (vs 14) 3 1/2 years

Note: A time = 1 year, times (pural) = 2 yeras, and half a time = 1/2 year. 1+2+1/2 = 3 1/2 years
XI. During this time Satan tried to persecute Israel

XII. The earth helped the woman.

XIII. Satan then turned on the remnant of her seed.

XIV. Part of the remnant will be the 144,000
