Seven Golden Vials
Full of the Wrath of God
So far we have seen
the seven seals (Rev. 6:1-17; 8:1)
the seven trumpets (Rev. 8:1-9:21; 11:15-19)
and coming up in the next chapter
the seven vials or bowls (Rev.16:1-21)
I. John saw seven angels having the seven last plagues.
II. These plagues represented the wrath of God.
III. John saw those who had gotten
victory over the beast
victory over his image
victory over his mark
victory over the number of his name.
IV. They were holding the harps of God.
V. They sang the Song of Moses
and the Song of the Lamb.
VI. Great and marvellous are thy works,
Lord God Almighty; Just and Ture are
thy ways, thou King of Nations.
VII. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify
thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations
shall come and worship before thee; for thy
judgments are made manifest.
VIII. The Tabernacle of the Testimony is open.
IX. What did the seven angels bring out of the temple? Seven plagues.
X. What did the beast give the seven angels? Seven golden vials.
XI. Does God approve of these soon coming judgments? Yes
