Chapter 19:1-10

The Alleluia Chapter
The Marriage of the Lamb


This is the only chapter where the word Alleluia is found.

Note:
(1) The alleluia of the Saints in Heaven (vs 1-3)
(2) The alleluia of the twenty-four elders (vs 4)
(3) The final alleluia of the great multitude (vs 5-6)
(4) The Marriage Supper of the Lamb announced (vs 7-8)
(5) The blessedness of those who are called to the Marriage Supper.

I. In heaven, what words were cried unto the Lord our God?
Alleluia; Salvation
and glory
and honor
and power

II. God’s judgments are True and Righteous

III. He hath avenged the blood of his servants

IV. And again they said, Alleluia

V. Who else in heaven cried Alleluia?
     (1) The twenty-four elders
     (2) The four beasts

VI. According to verse 5, what three word command was issued? Praise our God

VII. Another reason for saying Alleluia is shared in verse 6.
       Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth

VIII. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to him. (vs 7)

IX. What has come? The marriage of the Lamb

X. Who is the Bride? The Church Who is the Groom? Christ

XI. Who is blessed in verse 9? They which are called unto the marriage supper
      (The guests - The Old Testament Saints and the Tribulation Saints
      Remember: The Church is the Bride.)

XII. This event in God's Total Plan takes place after The Rapture and before the 2nd coming of Christ.

XIII. The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.

XIV. These are the true sayings of God

XV. Whom did John try to worship? An angel

XVI. But he was told: See thou do it not

XVII. The angel told John he was John’s fellowservant and brethren

XVIII. Who are we told to worship? Worship God.
