Chapter 22:1-6

No More Curse

I. John sees the
River of life (vs 1).
Tree of life (vs 2).

Note:
This is the same Tree of life found in the Garden of Eden.
Read Genesis 2:9, 3:22, and 3:24
Why do you think God did not want them to eat of the Tree of life in the garden?

II. The river of life is pure and clear.

III. The tree of life yields her fruit every month.

IV. Each month there is a different fruit.

V. The leaves of the tree are for health - giving.

VI. There is
no more curse (vs 3).
no more night (vs 5).
no more candle (vs 5).
no more light of the sun (vs 5).

VII. The Throne of God and of the Lamb
shall be in it (vs 3).

VIII. His servants shall serveHim (vs 3).

IX. According to verse 5, what is our source of light? God

(1) Blessed is he that Reads , Hears , and Keeps the words of this book (1:3)
(2) Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord (14:13).
(3) Blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments (16:15).
(4) Blessed are they that are called
unto the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (19:9).
(5) Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the First Resurrection (20:6).
(6) Blessed is he that keeps these sayings (22:7)
(7) Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have the right to the Tree of life (22:14).

What is the repeated word found in blessings 1, 3, and 6?
