Chapter 22:14-21

Lesson 43 with Answers
I Testify Unto Every Man
"Surely I Come Quickly"

I. According to verse 14, to enter into Heaven, one must do God’s
commandments

II. What is this? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 16:31

II. If one does the above, he/she is saved (Acts 16:31) blessed (v. 14)

III. Once in, what does one have the right to? The Tree of Life

IV. What does one have to go through to get in? Gates

V. Who is not in Heaven and will not get into Heaven?
(1) Dogs
Note: These are not animals, but people who act like animals.

(2) Sorcerers
(3) Whoremongers
(4) Murderers
(5) Idolaters
(6) Liers

VI. According to verse 15, what sin are we told makes one “loveth” to do? Lie.
“He that speaketh lies shall not escape” Proverbs 19:5

Note: Man may fool other men, but God will not be fooled.
God will give the final judgment. It will be with no appeal. It will be final and forever.

VII. Whom did Christ send to testify these things to the churches?
Mine angel

Note: See Rev. 1:1 The angel and messenger of God and Christ is Gabriel.
His name is found only four times in the Bible:
Twice in the OT Daniel 8:16 and 9:21
Twice in the NT Luke 1:19 and 1:21
But he is also refered to as "messenger" "Angel of the Lord" "Lord's angel"

VIII. Christ said He is related to David in what two ways?

(2) The Offspring

IX. What name does Christ give to Himself in verse 16?
The Bright and Morning Star

XI. Who said the word?
(1) The Spirit
(2) The Bride
(3) He that heareth

Note:
The Holy Spirit convicts men of their sin state and calls them to Christ.
The Bride (which is all believers of the Church Age) calls men to Christ by witnessing.
The hearer of God's Word who believes calls himself to Christ.
Three calls to come. But just a few heed that call to come. What about you?

XII. And let him that is athirst come.

XIII. Charistmatics add to the Word of God.

Note:
They do this by adding works to salvation by speaking in tongues or receiving the Holy Spirit.
Christ said, "It is finished". Nothing can be added to what He has already done.

XIV. Liberals take from God’s Word.

They remove the words "blood", "virgin", "virgin birth".
But Hebrews 9:22 says, . . ."without the shedding of blood is no remission."
Without the virgin birth - Christ is just a man, a good person, an example.

XV. What were Christ’s last four words in the Book of Revelation?
Surely I come quickly.

XVI. What is with all believers today? Christ’s Grace

Salvation is an simple as can be. Simple as ABC

These are the verses that brought salvation to this pastor at the age of 27.
God can use these verses to bring salvation to anyone at any age.
God can bring salvation to you. Read Acts 16:30 and 31.
